About This Website
Welcome to Jennifer’s Place! has been set up specifically to allow readers of my four books—China, “The Phoenix and The Dragon” (Book One), China, “The Dragon” (Book Two), "A Glimpse of Asia!" (Book Three) and "The Creative Revolution" (Book Four.) Here you will gain access to Additional Resources such as colored photos, additional books, weblinks, & videos where appropriate.
The small number of videos attached to China, “The Phoenix and The Dragon” (Book One) feature Tibet and Hong Kong way back in the 1930s and 1950s before they became modernized. The clips featuring Hong Kong in the 50s/60s/70s created by Mr. Michael Rogge are of particular note and worth viewing. The videos attached to (Book Two) China, "The Dragon," are numerous and are listed under the various chapters and sections of the book. The purpose is to enliven and authenticate my observations and comments. In fact, if the reader were to interact with the various links attached to these books on China as well as my other books, "A Glimpse of Asia! and "The Creative Revolution!" the links, books, and videos provided would take years to complete!
The links featured in Welcome to Jennifer’s Place! will take you to whichever book’s additional information is of interest. For instance, the link China, “The Phoenix and The Dragon” contains additional resources for that book. Likewise, China, “The Dragon,” offers similar in-depth resources, as do the other books.
Welcome to Jennifer’s Place! It is directed to those who are reading either of these two books on China or those who may wish to know something more about China—what it is like to live, work and travel in China unescorted. Whereas, "A Glimpse of Asia! touches on travel experiences but places special attention on the injustices past and present found in those countries.
Additionally, "The Creative Revolution!" (Book Four) is a project to galvanize positive, worldwide non-violent action. The book is based on and draws attention to the material included on my website www.ourpreciousplanet.com. It is a voluminous site containing a wide variety of topics that should be of interest to activists and those with a curious bent. Some topics will surely result in controversy and heated discussions! The book gives a brief outline of what you may expect to view on the website. Obviously, it would not be possible to cover all of the topics in-depth within the limitation of one book, but hopefully, the book will whet your appetite and encourage you to explore the website.
All of the above books can be purchased at www.amazon. com, or ordered from a local bookstore.
